Both homelessness and expensive housing has progressively increased in Asheville. These are complex and multifaceted issues that require a transformative approach. I firmly believe that by getting involved in local politics, I can contribute to making Asheville a safer and more equitable city for everyone. I aspire to help our most vulnerable populations while finding the balance for those who also live and work in Downtown Asheville and its many neighborhoods.

It is important that when addressing these issues, we listen to all of the community neighborhoods, housing coalitions, and first responders and we work for solutions that work for all of us.
